Jennifer Eaton, M.S. ::  Consultant & Trainer

Jennifer Eaton, M.S., works full time as the Director of DBT Services for The Bridge of Central Massachusetts, Inc.  She oversees 8 DBT programs including residential and outreach programs that serve emotionally disturbed adolescents and young adults, mentally ill adults, adult women with physical disabilities and traumatic brain injury, and adults with developmental disabilities.  In addition to supervising various DBT programs at The Bridge, she consults with and trains staff in other agencies on DBT topics and implementing DBT including various public schools, residential programs, and outpatient clinics.  She currently consults and trains staff at the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services (state juvenile justice system).  She is a regular trainer for The Bridge’s Training Institute.  Ms. Eaton has presented at the annual ISITDBT Conference and at various local and national conferences.  In addition she has consulted and trained with the New York State Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, the Alabama Mentor Network, and the Denver Colorado Behavioral Health Services.  She also has a small private practice providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Ms. Eaton holds a Masters of Science in clinical psychology. She maintains a Mental Health Counseling license through the State of Massachusetts (LMHC).  She was intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy by Charles Swenson, M.D. and Cindy Sanderson, Ph.D. and completed an Advanced Intensive training by Marsha Linehan, Ph.D., the developer of Dialectical Behavior Therapy in addition to numerous 2-day trainings on DBT or related topics.  She attends ISITDBT/ABCT yearly to expand knowledge in DBT and the field.
