We can begin work with you at any point in the implementation and/or training process.  TIC consults on the front-end to assess your system/practice, define problems, determine a plan of action and creatively obtain buy-in from all stakeholders.  We implement the plan of action by providing expert trainers, supervisors and consultants who will work on-site and/or remotely. TIC was founded by a group of clinicians and consultants with extensive experience in the field of mental health for the purpose of improving the quality of mental health services. We focus on implementation as the primary link between science and practice. Implementation encompasses every aspect, every level, and every function of an organization. It is cultural, structural, strategic and purposeful. While it is layered in daily practice, and demanding in execution, implementation of evidence based practices and treatments is also achievable. TIC can work with your organization to identify where you are, where you want to be and how to bridge the gap.  Implementation does not happen in one grand initiative, but in minute gains in attitude, practice, knowledge, and outcomes on a daily basis. 

System transformation is possible, but it takes time, consistency, persistence, and purposeful action.  We’re here to help you do that.  What we offer is targeted support for the person, the program and the system.  Implementation is an iterative process requiring buy in and support from all levels of care, all departments, all constituencies, with clear and concise planning.  We work with the system, the program, the team, and the individual practitioner.

Implementation of Dialectical Behavior Therapy: Across all settings (the full continuum of care from inpatient/forensic, residential and correctional setting through standard community outpatient and private practice through to standard outpatient private practice groups) and targeting all kinds of populations – child, adolescent, transition age, adult, within mental health, substance use and abuse, corrections, eating disorders, etc..:  We provide focused support for continuum of care issues, case management, outreach staff, front line and direct care staff, and clinical staff regarding the implementation of EBP’s accessing the most current data on implementation strategies, principles and science.

Basic Dialectical Behavior Therapy Training:  We teach Dialectical Behavior Therapy to teams and individual clinicians, breaking down the components of treatment (functions and modes) and supporting teams and programs through certification and accreditation.

Core Clinical Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy^©:  Our Core Clinical Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy^© is intensive training to support individuals and teams in learning how to do Dialectical Behavior Therapy, starting teams, and implementing programs.  These trainings are offered in open enrollment formats several times throughout the year.  It can also be offered onsite to  specifically target your system and agency staff.  View General Course Brochure

Advanced Teaching to Teams and Programs Administering Treatment:  We use case based teaching, video review, consultation team support, and assessment to strengthen clinical and programmatic skills.  We tailor advanced teaching to specific needs including, but not limited to,  therapist burnout, secondary targets, dialectics, commitment, advanced level skills training, and support.

Advanced Case Based Consultation:  We provide support for teams with clinical and team challenges through on-going consultation or brief, case specific consultation.    

Team/Systems Assessment in Preparation for Certification and Accreditation:  We work with teams and systems all over the world as they plan and prepare for Dialectical Behavior Therapy Certification and Accreditation.  We come onsite to assess your Dialectical Behavior Therapy services (clinical and administrative), meet with administration, clinicians and in some cases clients in order to prepare a clear path for what comes next.  We supervise clinicians as needed, train staff, enhance documentation and reporting. 

Expert Dialectical Behavior Therapy Supervision and Consultation:  We provide clinical and programmatic  supervision  to support preparation for Dialectical Behavior Therapy Certification and Accreditation.

Train-the-Trainer:  We will work with your administrators to identify a plan for sustainability and develop your internal experts.
